It’s a big deal, it’s not always easy, and it’s even more challenging if you’re not expecting it!

We think you know? We’ll leave it at that.

If she told you she’s pregnant, it’s time to accept the reality that the kid is yours and acknowledge your role in that happening.

There are a lot of things you can blame – and what you’re feeling makes a ton of sense. This wasn’t supposed to happen! But take the time to work through those feelings and thoughts, ask the questions you need to know the answers to, and then move on and move into your new role.

You’re not alone! It’s estimated that almost half of pregnancies are unplanned, and the real number is probably more than that.

And kids who grow up without a dad are more often parents of more unplanned pregnancies. If that’s part of your story, we want to help you work through that. And we want to do what we can so your kids have a dad, too. Because kids who grow up without a dad have a rougher time in life, in so many ways.

It can seem like a lot – and it is! – but it’s not the end of everything, not even the end of fun.

And there is a ton of support out there for you in this season, from fathering.me and a whole bunch of other agencies to government, family, and friends. And if we know about what’s happening in your life, we’re going to do everything we can to make things go right.
