Harass, abuse, or harm other users or our team
Upload malware or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service

5. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit, including any child or family profile details you choose to add (such as a child’s name, birthday or due date, and gender). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content as needed to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for content you provide, for ensuring you have the rights and authority to share it, and for not submitting information about a child unless you are that child’s parent or legal guardian (or have equivalent authority).

6. Our content and intellectual property

The Service, including branding, text, graphics, software, and other materials, is owned by fathering.me or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials without prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use of resources we make available for that purpose.

The Service may link to or integrate third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

8. Donations and purchases

If you make a donation or purchase related to fathering.me, additional payment-processor terms may apply. Unless required by law, donations are generally non-refundable. Contact us if you have a billing concern.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FATHERING.ME AND ITS TEAM WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless fathering.me and its team from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
